Your information
Privacy
This page explains the information Stidie uses to provide your account and tools. Last updated 8 October 2026.
Information you provide
When you create an account, we use details such as your name, email address and sign-in information. You may also add profile details, a photo, projects, links, services, CV content, booking preferences and email signature information. If you create quotes or invoices, those documents may include client names, contact details, addresses, line items, amounts and status.
Careers applications
If you apply for a listed role, we store the details you provide, including your name, contact information, the role, portfolio link, application statement and any CV or resume you upload. Application records are stored in Stidie for review by authorized team members. Uploaded files are kept in private storage and are not publicly accessible. Applications are submitted into the system and are not sent by email.
Information created through use
Stidie records profile views and link clicks, including the event type, the profile or link involved and the time of the event, to provide dashboard analytics. The application also uses session and security information to keep sign-in and account features working.
Public profiles
Information you add to your public profile, such as your biography, projects, services, links and contact details, is visible to people who visit that profile. Your contact email and phone stay hidden unless you switch on their public visibility. Your profile photo and website are shown when added. Please only publish information and media you have permission to share. You can edit or remove profile content from your dashboard.
Messages sent through portfolios
When a visitor contacts a profile through its message form, Stidie stores the visitor’s name, email address, subject and message in that profile owner’s private dashboard inbox. The visitor’s email address is not displayed publicly. The profile owner can read, delete or reply to the message using their own email app.
How we use information
We use account and profile information to operate Stidie, display the content you choose to publish, provide CV and client-document tools, show activity analytics, respond to support requests, protect the service and maintain its functionality. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides account information needed to authenticate you.
Cookies and preferences
Stidie uses browser storage for your display preference and cookies or session data for sign-in, security and core site functionality. Blocking these may prevent parts of the service from working as intended.
Support requests
When you submit a request through Help & Support or your paid account dashboard, Stidie stores your contact details, topic, request and replies in a support ticket. Authorized support staff can review and respond to the ticket. Paid subscribers can follow it from their dashboard. Public Help requests can be followed from the same browser session using the secure ticket link shown after submission. Email notifications are not currently enabled, so revisit the ticket page to see new replies.
Security audit records
Stidie records sign-in events and changes to application records for security and administration. Audit entries may include the actor, action, record type, changed field names, timestamp, IP address and browser information. They do not store passwords, secret tokens or full message bodies. Audit records are visible to authorized system administrators.
Storage, service providers and retention
Information is stored and processed by the application and the providers needed to host it and operate sign-in or other enabled features. We keep information for as long as needed to provide and maintain your account, respond to requests and meet operational or legal needs. You can remove profile content and request account deletion through your account settings; some records may need to be retained where required or necessary to resolve outstanding matters.
Support request security
Support requests are rate limited and include a hidden bot trap. If Cloudflare Turnstile is configured, we also use it to distinguish people from automated submissions. The widget may process technical and browser information and returns a verification token that Stidie checks with Cloudflare. We use these checks to reduce spam and abuse.
Your choices and questions
You can update your profile and account details in the dashboard, choose what appears publicly, or contact us with a privacy question or request. We may need to verify your account before acting on a request.
